Build a Book Club

In my six part Build a Book Club eBook, I’ve distilled all my experience, research and resources into easy-to-follow steps.

I’m a firm believer that books are doorways to new worlds and ways of understanding the one we live in. Book clubs offer a chance for readers, young and old, to connect over shared stories. Parents, caregivers and educators have told me time and time again how talking about books with the young people in their life opened up conversations they never thought possible.

Beyond just reading, book clubs provide a refuge from everyday stresses, with the added bonus of fun social gatherings. They can help strengthen relationships between parents and children, offer opportunities for new friendships, and, of course, always bring the promise of tea, cake, and good company.

BUILD A BOOK CLUB

A Six Part e-book

I’ve been part of book clubs since my late teens, and they’ve brought me more than just literary enjoyment. They’ve been a source of great food, deeper friendships, and enriching conversations. Over the years, I’ve applied what I’ve learned to younger readers, creating countless book clubs for tweens, teens, ESL students, and even groups of Harry Potter lovers. Now, I want to help you create a book club that becomes the talk of your school, community, or online space.

“He won’t tell me how his day was, and I often get eye-rolls and grunts instead of conversation. But when he saw me reading our Book Club book last night, there was a flicker of interest. We talked over dinner about the World War 2-themed book we were reading instead of focusing on homework. This book gave us a focus and a reason to talk.”
